Caregiver OneCall Awarded Two Grants to Support Antioch Caregivers
We are excited to announce that Caregiver OneCall has been selected to receive two program grants from the Antioch Community Foundation (ACF) for the 2025–2026 funding cycle.
Our organization was awarded $1,500 in funding through two $750 program grants. This support will help strengthen our efforts to care for those who care for others in Antioch and East Contra Costa.
Here is how the funding will be used:
Volunteer Training Program
This grant supports training for local volunteers who will provide safe, compassionate respite care to caregivers in our community. The program equips community members with essential skills to offer support in homes where caregivers need a break, peace of mind, and trusted help.
Caring for the Caregiver Program
This grant will expand access to our caregiving education and respite services for 25 low-income, BIPOC caregivers in Antioch. These are the caregivers who are often carrying the heaviest loads with the least support. This program gives them tools, relief, and a place to turn when they feel like there is nowhere else to go.
We are thankful to the Antioch Community Foundation and its Board of Directors for recognizing the urgent needs caregivers face and for choosing to invest in solutions that create real change. This support allows us to reach more families and build a stronger, more connected caregiving community.
No caregiver should ever feel invisible. With your help, we are making sure they are not.
