Join Caregiver OneCall and make a real difference in the lives of family caregivers! We offer a variety of rewarding volunteer opportunities, from providing direct emotional support on our Caregiver Support Line to assisting with community outreach, fundraising, and administrative tasks. Whether you are a retired professional, a student, or simply someone with a compassionate heart, we have a role that fits your skills and availability. 1. Caregiver Support Line Volunteer

Role Type: Virtual
Description:
Be a listening ear for family caregivers. Volunteers will provide emotional support, encouragement, and help callers feel seen and heard. Training provided. No clinical advice required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer calls or messages from caregivers seeking support
  • Offer empathy, active listening, and resource referrals
  • Log call notes securely and maintain confidentiality

Ideal for: Retired professionals, peer caregivers, social work students, or anyone with compassion and strong listening skills.

2. Community Outreach Volunteer

Role Type: In-person or Remote
Description:
Help us spread the word. You will represent Caregiver OneCall at community events, senior centers, caregiver groups, and resource fairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Distribute flyers, brochures, and promotional items
  • Share Caregiver OneCall’s mission and services with the public
  • Help with tabling, booth setup, and capturing contacts

Ideal for: Outgoing personalities, people who love talking to others, students needing service hours.

3. Volunteer Coordinator Assistant

Role Type: Remote | 4–6 hours per week
Description:
Support our growing team of volunteers. Help with onboarding, scheduling, and appreciation initiatives.

  • Assist in onboarding and training logistics
  • Manage volunteer sign-ups and schedules
  • Send reminders, updates, and thank-yous
  • Track hours and collect feedback

4. Fundraising & Events Volunteer

5. Social Media and Content Volunteer
