Simba Ndemera

Simba Ndemera is a mission-driven finance and operations leader dedicated to advancing equity, environmental stewardship, and opportunity. 

A tenured CFO, he as held various CFO and Treasurer roles. Amongst others, he has held the role of CFO of the Drupal Association, CFO of New Forests and also previously served as CFO of the Sierra Club Foundation, where he championed transparent, values-aligned financial stewardship to fuel impact.

Originally from Africa, Simba founded the Yathom Foundation and led the construction of a school in rural Zimbabwe; a second school and orphanage is underway in The Gambia.

Across nonprofits and social enterprises, he builds resilient systems, strengthens governance, and aligns resources with purpose so communities can learn, thrive, and shape a more just, sustainable future.
