I have worn many hats in my life: caregiver, support group facilitator, dementia educator, and coach. In every role, I kept meeting people who were exhausted, overwhelmed, and alone—family caregivers doing everything for everyone else, with no one to call when they hit their own breaking point. I have led support groups where people cry through the entire hour. I have supported caregivers who feel unseen, unprepared, and unappreciated.
I have witnessed the toll: financial, emotional, physical—that caregiving can take. Even in my own family, I experienced the same. And when I looked for help, most hotlines closed early, programs lacked cultural sensitivity, and there were few real-time resources for the human side of caregiving: the grief, the guilt, the exhaustion.
So, I started Caregiver OneCall—a 24/7 emotional support line built by and for caregivers. This is more than a service. It is a lifeline. We believe that caregivers deserve care, too. And we are building the safety net we wish we had.
We listen with compassion, understanding the emotional and physical challenges caregivers face.
Caregiving is a demanding role that deserves recognition and respect. We will always honor the dedication of caregivers and the dignity of those they care for.
We provide reliable guidance, practical resources, and emotional reassurance 24/7.
We foster a safe, connected space where caregivers can share, learn, and find solidarity.
We know it is not easy to practice self-care as a family caregiver, but we empower caregivers to care for themselves as they care for others.
Integrity is the backbone of our mission. We uphold trust through honesty, transparency, and a firm commitment to privacy.
